Smiths Lake

If you prefer calmer waters instead of the ocean, Smiths Lake is the number one option in the Pacific Palms area. Surrounded by a lush littoral forest and separated from the sea by Sandbar Beach, this is a family favourite for those wanting to enjoy waterskiing, boating, stand up paddle boarding or windsurfing.

With an impressive 32 square kilometres you can enjoy al the benefits of this calm sheltered waterway. But there are also magnificent beaches to explore. The picturesque Cellito Beach can be accessed via a boardwalk at the northern end of Sandbar Beach. There are barbecues and playgrounds in the lakefront reserve and you can hire boats, canoes, kayaks and catamarans from Frothy Coffee Boatshed.

Kayaking

Hire a kayak or paddleboard from Tony at Adacou. He’ll even bring the kayak or board to your chosen launch site on Myall or Smiths Lake. You can choose to go on guided tour of the lakes with him or a self-guided tour.

Cellito & Sandbar

Smiths Lake also has some magnificent beaches to explore. The picturesque Cellito Beach can be accessed via a boardwalk at the northern end of Sandbar Beach
